If you have a sulfur smell in your drinking water, it could be coming from a few different places. A lot of the time its not sulfur or hydrogen sulfide at all, it can be an iron bacteria or the anode rod inside your water heater. Don't just go with the first guy who tells you, "you have sulfur," then when he comes out to test the water he only catches the first little bit, then quickly tries to sell you the wrong water treatment system. Sulfur or hydrogen sulfide does not go away, its in the HOT AND COLD WATER not just the hot. If you can run the cold water forabout 2 to 5 minutes and the smell goes away, it's not sulfur or hydrogen sulfide. An air injection water treatment system or storage tank with a spray bar will not cure the water problems.
Ozone is the 2nd most powerful oxidizer on the planet, second only to fluorine. Ozone kills bacteria 3000 times faster than chlorine. Our Ozone water treatment system injects 3 grams of ozone per hour into the water, then effectively filters the contaminates like sulfur or hydrogen sulfide, sulfur bacteria, iron, iron bacteria, manganese. Ozone kills E-coli, salmonella, crypto sporidium and too many others to list. The killing of all these bacteria takes place in the off-gas tank. The Ozone is vented out into the back-wash line prior to the filter system. This filter is a five micron filter (basically down to the size of a coffee filter) that automatically back-washes. The filter media inside the tank is a light weight filter media, so it bask-washes itself completely, every time. If there is Calcium in the water you will need a water softener. Our water softener will treat 2000 gallons of 20 to 30 grain hard water. You will still have our ozone pure water treatment system and water softener system in your home 20 years from now.
